Personal, Social and Emotional Development

In Nursery we nurture the children to become independent learners. As the year progresses they develop their skills so they are able to take off their coat/outdoor suit and wellington boots all on their own. They also help to tidy up, go to the toilet and wash their hands independently. The children are encouraged to share, take turns and play together in a group. We encouraged the children to look after their friends as they play. We regularly talk about different feelings and often use puppets and simple stories in an engaging way.
